 There was a sunny disposition in my heart despite the teeming rain at the Outburst festival on Saturday. To start with, the venue, the Bernie Grant Arts Centre in Tottenham, was more than welcoming. Beautifully new with clean toilets, soft tissue paper and an onsite coffee bar with real tea, coffee and cakes. Definitely a joy for us girls who do festivals but not the wellie or porta-loo variety. |

Haringey is renowned and celebrated for its ethnic, religious and cultural diversity and it is only proper that sexual diversity is celebrated equally. |

We recognise and acknowledge that within some communities people are marginalised for a range of reasons relating to their sexual orientation and/or cultural background and that people from these communities have historically not always had the confidence to engage with the MPS, particularly as victims of crime. |

 Saturday 5 July saw the annual Pride London parade and rally, and the BAME community was out it force to make this a spectacular day. Official figures suggest that 500,000 people attended this year's event! |

 The Outburst UK team took part in this year's Crusaid Walk for Life 10k around London to raise money for people affected by HIV and AIDS in the UK and Africa. It was a fantastic and fun day and the team raised over £300 this year, so a big thank you to all those who supported us. Images here.
